Caught this last night in the omniplex in cork. Really enjoyed it and it looks absolutely stunning.

It's kind of an Alice in Wonderland/Labyrinth type film, and if you get a chance to see it, go, you wont be disappointed. anyone else catch it?

You could go for black orchid which was gaiman's first collaboaration with Mc Kean..some really nice artwork.
    You could also buy Mirrormask.
On the novel front I loved neverwhere and American Gods,Gaiman's new novel Anansi boys is pretty damn deadly too.
Then of course there's Gaimans Sandman collection with cover artwork by Mc Kean. (I love Sandman)
There's also the two children's books "Wolves in the walls" and "The day I swopped my dad for two goldfish" again the artwork was by Mc Kean. Though they're for kids I loved them too!

Saw this in Cineworld in Dublin the other day... Fantastic visuals, with great work from Jim Henson's creature shop... It does have a very heavy "Labyrinth" feel. It also reminded me of "Never Ending Story" a little.
The acting was a little... irritating, though. Lead actress Stephanie Leonidas did well enough, but was working a little too hard, I thought. A little "Famous Five"-esque, if you know what I mean...
But overall it's well worth a look if you like Gaiman, or twisted dreaminess in general... the creature designs are delightful... The entire film is gorgeous.

I saw this yesterday, going in without having any expectations at all. I was really surprised, thoroughly enjoyed and recommend it to everyone!

It looked fairly fantastic, but thing the story could have been done a bit better.

The "close to you" scene was great.

    Watched this last night.
I'm a big fan of the Labyrinth and the Dark Crystal two classic Henson productions.
I thought this film was very poor overall.
Very bad acting, poor script, ridiculous effects and dodgy CGI.
Really was a slog to keep watching to the end.
    Very very disappointing .

    I thought it was wonderful.

It's been a long time since I saw a film with so much imagination on display.

Dear god... those pigeon/gorilla things were brilliant!

I have really high hopes for The Power of the Dark Crystal now.
