    I recently got a Stong 6130 (i think), added a quad LNB to my exsiting Sky Digital sat and connected it up for FTA only. I downloaded all the channels but it doesn't seem to have found BBC3& 4. Is there any way I can manually get this?
    Any help would be great.

    The frequencies are in the "Tuning in extra channels" thread on this forum, they'll work on a Strong box also, and that'll get you BBC 3 and 4. Check to make sure you're not missing anything else you want against: http://www.lyngsat.com/28east.html

    I should have explained this a bit better! I know how to add extra channels on the Sky box but I can't figure out how to actually add them to the strong box.
    The frequency's of the extra channels are not the problem!

    Oops...

    My Strong box is >200 miles away, but here goes

    Menu->Installation->System Installation->Add Channels

    I think

    Its definately under "installation". You'll be asked for a PIN, its 1234 if you've not changed it.

    Once in there, you add the transponder to the list - this is a bit fiddly, then go to scan it - "Tp scan" as opposed to "net scan" unless you want to be there all night.

    I tried this and still BBC3 and 4 are not listed, all other BBC's are. Am I doing something stupid?

    Probably :p

    Are CBeebies and CBBC listed? They're 3 and 4 after 7pm, same carriers.

    There should be no problem getting BBC3 &4 using a Strong. It's a reliable piece of kit.

    You have to scan for them after 7pm. Make sure you've checked the latest params on Lyngsat as the ones that might be in the Strong could well be out-of-date.

    Of course then CBBC and CBeebies will be missing. Its the same channels. Same will apply shortly to ITV4, you won't find it before 6pm as it will be CITV.
