So, what is it for you? What do you watch when everyone else is working?

    Mine has to be:

    1. Murder She Wrote
    2. Deal or No Deal
    3. Columbo
    4. Bargain Hunt

I only watch telly in the middle of the night, like midnight to three. So...

    Trailer Park Boys
    Southpark
    Six Feet Under
    The Comedy Store
    Star Trek NG

And on a drunken weekend night in with the lads:
    -Babestation
-Generic Dating Channel (it's funny watching losers, loonies and the odd drug addict embarass themselves on telly)
    -Viva la bam.
    -Family guy/American Dad dvds

But you watch programs that would at times be broadcast on telly no?

During the week, all I ever watch is the news (on RTÉ and Sky), and Question & Answers. I sometimes watch The Simpsons, if I'm having dinner on my own.

That is the best entertainment, ever. My family think I'm crazy for watching it, but how can they not see the sheer comedy gold?

And, a vile pox upon DC++. Someone put up the first two series of the X Files, and I can't stop myself from watching them. Which is not good, with the amount of work I have to do...

I retract the above statement and give a big thanks to ronny for the new Placebo album!

Mythbusters - or at least, that's what I spent Sunday-day watching. There was a lot of it on.

Reeeeallly late on BBC2 there's an Open University series called Learning Zone. It's crap tbh, but interesting anyway.

Additionally, next time you hear the beep think of the fun you could be having on Supermarket Sweep.

I actually spent this weekend watching the shield myself. Watched the first 8 episodes of season five, now downloading season 4. Man i love that show, with all the pimps and bitch'es.

oh, the x files was decent, but died a death long before the end. I think i'm the only one that watched the final episode. I've a funny feeling lost will head the same way.

Ok, well I presume it's yours so..thank you indeed. I had a ****-quality version but that's pretty listenable. (I'll still buy the album, but I'm really impatient about release dates.)

I'm a really big fan, I've been watching it since I was 9..I've seen almost every one of the 201 episodes.

The seasons after the film are pants, the ones before are good. I don't see how any body could like both halfs of the X-files

I don't really. But 7-9 had a few great moments, in between all that supersoldier/mystery-love-child-who-will-save-the-world crap.

See, i'm a computer science student. i have a lot of watchable crap.

    space above and beyond
    my name is earl
    farscape
    firefly

    I love veronica mars!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned it already, but the OC has to be listed as a so bad it's good guilty pleasure. Supernatural has such pretty boys in it too, it's excellent reward tv.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,314 ✭✭✭Nietzschean

yeah veronica mars is cool alright, is it on tv over here?

and my position of hating the oc remains :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,198 ✭✭✭✭Crash

I didnt like it until i ended up mindlessly watching it - i didnt have to think for a whole HOUR - it was fantastic :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,314 ✭✭✭Nietzschean

ye should try veronica mars, much better show....though there hasn't been an ep in ages now :/

I got my student TV fix last month when I had this bloody flu crap - early seasons of Buffy and Charmed. Ahh...good times. And Ian, I read in a few different things around November/December that RTE were meant to be buying Veronica Mars to start showing in January (it was part of their plan for growth in the new year, based on how popular Lost and Desperate Housewives have been), but there's still no sign of it - maybe the deal fell through?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,314 ✭✭✭Nietzschean

Possibly one of the better shows to come out of the us in recent times anyway, pity...

*Watching DJ Tiesto Live @ Amsterdam Gelredome* , indoor fireworks ftw..

Now thats my dream job, pyrotechnics.....
