Amazon moving to Cork

    Seems that Amazon have decided that Slough is not good enough for them any more so they are moving their customer service to Cork as they speak better French aparently!?!

    I guess it would be a bit too much to ask that they would then open a proper Irish version of their site to give us some cheaper shipping costs though?

    doesnt matter to me, they are not doing any developement here anyway, only support, so good luck, they will probably eventually move to India anyway

    gordon brown answered a parliamentary question on them moving from slough, said eu subsidies allowed us to have low corporations tax, that goes above language skills or ability of workforce
