you can see how many times your profile has been viewed but not see who has viewed.

    No you can't.

And no, bebo aren't closing down.

And no, they aren't running out of usernames.

And no, they don't need to see who's account is active by sending badly written forwards.

And no, you can't open multiple profiles at the same time because bebo is horribly badly written.

And no, bebo isn't reliable. Half the time pictures are inaccessible in peoples phtot albums.

And no, bebo isn't fast. It often takes several minutes per 20kB jpg to upload to an album.

All in all, bebo is crap.

And yet i still use it

    I second those sentiments.

Bebo is extremely annoying, you go onto your mates prifle, want to post something, and it goes to someone else. The posting is very random and its horrible to follow, myspace is much better, bebo only supports having your college/school

Myspace is fully html code enabled so you can make it look pro

What exactly does Bebo do? What benefits does it yeild to the user?

All the first years around UCC are using it as if it is going to yeild the meaning of life before the end of the academic year.

    hummm

Its a great way to get friends. For example you type in what you like and do a search and then look at the pictures of the cute girls and then add them to your friends. Hey presto you have loads of good looking friends to show off to those loosers in school. I'm up to 437 friends so far.

A word of warning though, these places are full of sexual predators. On the plus side they are full of sexual prey.

i just discovered that problem myself. dont have the profile of someone you hate open at the same time as you try to add someone else as your friend. it adds the wrong person. retarded

It actually started off as a place to keep all your friends contact details;e-mail,address,mobile/home telephone numbers, work et cetera.
I've been on it over a year but literally had my name and details.Didn't bother filling out a profile. But in the last few months it seems to have exploded in this country for some reason. And now with the ingenius addition of schools and colleges it's linking so many people so I don't see it slowing.

On a more serious note, tbh I see these social networking systems as nothing more then clever marketing systems. I mean if you were an advertising company trying to get the data that is freely put on there you would have a hard time of it.
