    Dilemma:

I want a 360. I've put off buying one since they came out (kept telling myself prices were so ridiculous). But now that GRAW, Burnout, Gears Of War and a few others are arriving, it's reared it's head again.
It'd still be a month or two before I'd have the cash for one, but that'd give time for better games to appear and prices to drop (ha! Yeah, as if).

Here's the thing though. I don't have broadband, only ISDN (can't get bb in my area). Don't suppose there's any way I can hook the 360 up to that? Yeah..didn't think so.
Failing that then, is there any way I can network the 360 and my pc so I could install updates/patches etc?
Or is it all dependant on having bb?

    Cheers in advance.

PS: Any suggestions as to where is the cheapest place to find one and games aswell? Assuming I can't get one second hand of here or somewhere.
About to go check out some sites for prices etc., but if anyone had any suggestions, they're welcome.

/Edit: I should probably also mention that I don't have a HDTV either (3k me arse, go to hell. I'll stick with the 42" CRT for a while thank you!), but I've a 19" CRT for the pc that I can connect it to, so that should keep me happy.

Since I've moved away from my broadband connection I don't think I've played mine once. It all depends on what games you play but I have PGR3 and PDZ and they're pretty poor without BB.

Best to wait I think. I got mine in January and I haven't used it much for gaming since I completed Condemned. I mostly use it as a media extender and using my ps2 and old xbox for games like (shadow of the colossus, Psychonauts and haunting ground). There are a few games coming out in the next few months that I want to check out (Farcry, LOTR2). But if you haven't got one yet then hold on to see how the reviews go.

Harvey Normans in the cheapest for 360 games by far.

I wouldn't bother getting a 360 yet, I got mine in December and haven't played it since... December!. It's a €410 dust collector.

I disagree (slightly), I love my 360. Pretty much play (live) every night and think life would be missing something without it, however would agree with the BB piece. If you can't play live then would hold off for that reason alone.

I love mine but it's hard to recommend one if you've no broadband. Live arcade is the best part of the console at the moment, there's a wealth of fantastic games. The actual full priced games I'm bored of now, but if you were only getting one I'm sure CoD2 alone would keep you busy until Oblivion comes out on the 20th of March. Now that'll be a reason to get one!

Right, after some deliberation, I'm not going to get one. I'll upgrade the Pc instead. :)

Only games I would've really played are Xbox 360 exclusives (if such a thing exists).
Already have COD2 for the pc (have this vendetta against playing fps's on consoles!) and I'll be getting Oblivion for the pc aswell.

Cheers for the input though folks.

    PC ftw. :D
