Urgent Help Needed Regarding Changing a Module

Hi everyone,

I need some pretty urgent help. Originally I was registered for the OO Models module from the start of the year. At the start of this Semester I changed it o Multimedia Technology but this is not suited to me at all. Is it somehow possible for me to change back to my original choice?

I need to do this badly or im in serious trouble and could fail. As its my final year I would prefer to avoid that

Does anyone know if I can change and how I can go about doing it? Paying money to change will not bother me

Im doing IS and yes Multimedia is an absolute nightmare of a module. Really hard continuous assessment thats a complicated Java program which to me is ridiculous as the module should be testing your knowledge of the course material and not your ability to program. The actual material is a very complicated as well.

hey paddy, as someone who has done his fair share of changing ill try to help!

was oo a year long module? if so its doubtful u can change! if its only a sem2 option, they'll let u change but it will cost u, think last week was deadline for change of module.. registry or email year head... howard duncan?

It was only a semester long module. Yeah I think teh deadline was last week all right. I asked my year head who is Lynn Killen and she didnt know. Bloody useless. I just emailed the registry there. Made up a bit of a story to go along with it. I need to change this module!

Yea doubt it'd be a problem.....might have to pay as i say! they are pricks like that

Yeah €60 but to be honest I dont care if I have to pay because I can see myself failing Multimedia. If im willing to join a module that im 4 weeks behind in tells ya how much I hate Multimedia! Did you change past the deadline before?
