    hi,

went to see this last night.

was going along smoothly, then finished in mid air.

everyone in the cinema was left confused. never seen a crowd so flabbergasted.

nobody seemed to get it. there were some "theories" but no concrete solutions.
really have never seen an audience talk so much amongst eachother after a film before...

    any ideas?

You obviously didnt see revolver in the cinema!  :) I dont think your supposed to know for sure what happens, apparently Haneke is staying tight lipped about it and as you say everybody has a theory. Nice to see a bit of ambiquity in a modern film though as opposed to everything been wrapped up on screen. Dont get me wrong I love a good hollywood blockbuster as much as the next man but its also nice when a movie makes you think(while remaining watchable and enjoyable of course, its here where revolver fell down).

There's already a big long thread about it here. No need for another one.
