I was so damn close last year. If it wasn't for one of my horse's dying and another flopping as favourite 4 times in a row....I was in the top 5 in Ireland though.

I have Electrocutionist in this competition. Any chance of him winning on Saturday being in stall one? Could someone explain why stall 1 has such a bad record in this race?

Electrocusionist will have to come from the widest possible draw to win on Saturday. No horse has ever won the race from that stall. As well as having to make up the ground you have to put up with the kick back from all the other horses in front of you. I deliberately waited for two things before I picked my 7 stars - The draw on saturday, and the declarations for this year's derby.

Electrocutionist is a european horse that really wouldn't be used to the kickback that he's going to face on Saturday. Also, he's a horse that likes to lie very handy...he won't be able to do this from a starting point in stall one.

A great start indeed, electrocutionist should run over the turf in Europ too so you're definitely gonna get a run for your money(or for free as it is)

Yours looks particularly interesting scargill as they say that their whole season is centred around Shawanda this year.
