Band/Jam?

    Musicians wanted for a few jams based in Maynooth. I play guitar myself (around 4 years) Im a student of NUI Maynooth looking for some people to jam around with, maybe writing some material.

    Not too fussy as of yet about what area to go into but hoping in the vein of:

    Neurosis, Radiohead, Converge, Jesu, Mare, At the Drive-In, Circle Takes The Square, The Police, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Isis, Pink Floyd, Old Man Gloom, Sunn O))), The Redneck Manifesto, Melt Banana, Mastodon, Mogwai, Sigur-Ròs, Botch, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Pelican, Cult Of Luna

    ...all influences/stuff id like to aim towards... I know some of the list is obscure but Im looking for someone with interests in that general area!

    If anyones interested in having a jam pm me...

    Waaay interested! I'm in celbridge. I love the influences ya got there, especially Isis and hardcore punk stuff.
    Playing guitar 5 years, messed around in a couple of bands.

    I'm a huge fan of Thrice and Glassjaw. Plenty of the other trendy emo/hardcore bands, too. Then all the other more classic influences; Pumpkins, Oasis, Metallica, etc etc. I'm definitely aiming to write material, too.
