Smilies inconsistent across styles

    I notice that the smilies are different for various boards.ie styles.

    For example, typing..
    :D
    
    looks like this under the Cloud style: biggrin.gif , but the smiley looks this for a user using the default skin: biggrin.gif

    The smilies play a huge role in conveying the mood of a post, and to me, there is a big difference between the two smilies above.

    The smilies are graphics used to indicate the same meaning that the plain-text smilie is meant to convey.

    The graphics are chosen to co-ordinate with the rest of the skin.

    Say :D when you mean what is normally conveyed by that.

    Or become more eloquent and don't use them at all.
