Babyshambles establish spring tour dates

Hopefully, troublesome Doherty can act an angel till the end of Irish tour.

Babyshambles pay a visit to the Carlow Music Factory on April 12 and the Spring & Airbrake in Belfast on April 14 as part of what’s expected to be a nationwide Irish tour.

Carlow tickets priced €28 go on sale at 9am on March 3. Belfast tickets are £19.50.

Pete Doherty’s attendance is dependent on a number of things, not least his arrest last week in Birmingham following a high-speed car chase.

The singer was detained on suspicion of stealing the Jaguar he was in and – surely not –possessing a Class A substance. Already undertaking drug rehabilitation as part of a 12-month community service order, Doherty may find that the courts’ patience with him has finally run out.
