Halo on Xbox360 wont work

    hey guys
    I can't get Halo to work on my 360 when its using the VGA cable to my monitor.. yet when i bring it inside to the living room and run it from my standard tv it works. Is there any way to get it running HD using my VGA cable? Halo 2 works fine except when I try to access Xbox Live.

    Just after trying Splintercell: Chaos Theory on my VGA cabled 360 and it looks amazingly good.

    Just talking to my mate bout this - he said to bring it into your TV and play live on it then, then its a simple matter of plugging it into your monitor after that - Another thing is to check the native resolution of the monitor (it should auto-selct this though)

    Had the same issue with Halo 2, just use a regular tv to update it with the latest patches, then it should run live using your VGA!

    Still have the same issue with Halo 1 (Display settin incorrect, havent found a work around for this yet)

    yeah got Halo2 working online now thankfully but still no joy with Halo1.

    Is your console set to 50hz or 60 hz ?
