    WOULD THIS GRAPHICS CARD BE ANY GOOD, DONT HAVE HIGH BUDGET BUT WANT TO PLAY LATEST GAMES WITH GOOD PERFORMANCE.
    FOUND THIS ON KOMPLETT FOR 185 EURO

    Gainward GeForce 6600GT 256MB GDDR3, PCI-Express,"Ultra/1980PCX Tv-out, DVI

    if ye havent got a high budget it will be grand for running new games in 1024x768 with 4xAA 8xAF on and higher resolution for the older games

    good to know its not crap, will be going with maybe pentium 4 640 3.2ghz, and 1gb of DDR2 ram.

    do you think there is big difference between this graphics card and the likes of Geforce 6800 GT? cause that card is xtra 60 euro

    FYI if you want a games machine dont waste money on a P4 get an Athlon 64 instead cheaper and better performing.

    A 6600GT is whats called a mid range graphics card a 6800GT is considered a high end card though it is not the at the top end of its class the difference is in performance the 6800GT would allow games to be played at higher resolutions and more eye candy turned on etc.

    Just so you know the 6800GS is a replacement for the 6800GT as is also cheaper than the GT although Komplett dont seem to stock many of them but it offers the same level of performance as the 6800GT more or less.
