    Anyone know where you can get rid of old PCs ,preferably in South Dublin. We've got about 10 PCs, monitors etc in the office to get rid of.

    If they work, your local primary school will be gratefull for them.
    Even if they don't they could probably use some parts.

    No they're no use to anyone, all ancient stuff we replaced for customers who upgraded with new equipment.

    You'd be surprised.
    If they are Pentium 1 or later, you could be upgrading the school's whole network.

    look at www.electronic-recyling.ie ,based in finglas ,take in all pcs,printers,all types of electrical equipment.

    Camara are a charity who take in PCs, tidy them up, install Linux and send them to schools in Africa. Could be worth a look if you want to do something worthwhile with them :)
