    Please read the charter... people are not allowed to give legal advice...

    If used car was bought at car vendor maybe Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act would apply.

    /Edit - Thirdfox, some less "friendly neighbourhood-type" moderators might construe that sort of comment as an attempt to moderate the forum, which perhaps should be left to those whom the administrators deemed fit for the job.

    Hmm... I'm just doing what I see on other forums e.g. mobiles for sale, trinity college forum etc. where people warn the OP that the post in not in regulation with the charter and to avoid moderation they should correct their post.

    But if that's not allowed on this forum then I shall desist.

    It's not that I mind you letting people know they're breaching the charter, just say something like you usually do eg "you can't get legal advice" just don't tell people what to do eg "read the charter".
