    I am looking for the above as I want to distract the kids in the car on long drives? Anybody got some names of companies etc that do this type of kit?

    Venturer do these kind of portable dvd players.

    I see www.argos.co.uk have "Wharfedale Mobile DVD with Twin 7in Monitors" for 189.99 sterling so maybe you should try Argos.

    Have a look on ebay too as they've lots there.
