Set up my 79 strat there today and its such a beauty. Wasnt set up right for a long while and was hanging up but ficed it up today, plugged her into the marshall and oh lord..... Thought i would share since there are so many strat lovers

I am gonna get my rig together and take a pic asap. All i am missing at the mod is pod xt live and crybaby so could post pics of others pretty soon. I love the strat. Its unreal. get this....

other guitarist in band ordered a lovely Mex Strat off ebay with USA pups etc. 780 euro

He got it and rang me and said " i think i learnt the hard way that you cant beat a les paul"

I said sure i have been telling you its a completely different ball game, if you want an lp get one not a strat

He said the distortion is CRAP!, its completely different, didnt expect it to be this bad! I like richy samboras sound

Text me a day later saying "Sellin the strat 700euro spread the word.

oh i dont liek the sound of some overdriven strats, if i was to get a new one id definitly have to get a fat strat,

and i love richie sambora, hes a comletly underatted guitarist and has wonderfull tone :cool:

It's because, like anything with massive power, the Strat takes a deft and manly hand at the controls to wrestle it into submission. What you get for the extra work at control is far more versatility and sounds that can't be created by anything else!

Takes a lot more input to handle a flamethrower than a lighter. Tell him to stick with his 'kiddie' guitars.

Add to that the "pasting Maple problem and Gemihen fan consent" and that Strat will set your hair on fire! :v:

Gonna get some samples up for all my guitars when i get the time. Strat is a much harder guitar to control but the rewards are much better. I would prefer a fat strat for sure.

Love the Finish on the Love Rock I am looking to do a finish like that on a guitar I am working on at the moment do you have a photo of the entire body...

I would definitely agree with you on the Fat Strat I have a 92 MIJ Foto Flame Model and it is unbelievable when overdriven

The other guitarist in the band is a Les Paul man and cannot understand the Strat thing.

Its an AXL Players edition. Heavy as hell.. Great great clean sound and stratty crunch. Its cheap and cheerful, bought it purely for the body lol
