These Strada/Ritmo Abarths have a cult following and have been talked about a few times on this forum, so I thiink it's already a classic. The engines in particular are supposed to be bloody excellent.

IIRC there is a Ritmo Abarth (130 TC) in the buyandsell at the moment.

The Uno Turbo is also a fondly remembered car :)

Friend of mine rallied a Ritmo 130TC years ago reg 130 ZB or ZB 130, i think he still has the engine, the shell died ages ago:(

I had two MK1 Uno Turbo ies first one had all the turbo stripes taken off and a Uno 45 1 litre badge put on it:D crashed it doing 25mph and wrote it off, which can happen when the other vehicle involved indicates right and turns left:mad: , second had a modded dump valve and on one occasion I got it to redline in 5th, it ended up falling apart with rust and becoming a donor for a rally car.

Top cars! Tried to buy one exactly like that when I was 18 but the insurance was too high (this was in the UK) and my dad dissuaded me because of the fragility of it (this coming from a man who bought a canary yellow :D Fiat 126!)

I had one of these back in the 80's (KZS 130) - what a fun car - rust (even then) was a problem - saw it a couple of years back in a very sorry state :-(
