    I'am buying a macintosh Ibook for my little girl. Can anyone suggest some top notch editing software. Money is no problem. Its A Apple 5

    When you say editing software, what do you mean? Photo? Audio? Video? Word Processing?

    All the software she would need is already suppleid by Apple. iMovie, iDVD, iTunes, iPhoto, Garage Band etc. Works a dream.

    Money no object so get extra ram instead.;)

    well id recommend open office for word, excel and powerpoint. cant get any better than free

    Well with money being no object you're better off buying Microsoft Office for Mac. Most Mac users I know seem to agree that it's about the only thing Microsoft did right for the Mac. OpenOffice doesn't work without hacky stuff (X11 being installed) or else you've to use the java version NeoOffice which is really quite slow. I don't use any office software on my Powerbook at the moment though so my recommendations aren't the best.
