Well, I know a person who is dead set on only using a washing machine etc between the hours of 11pm and 7am because he believes that the ESB charge less during these hours, I've looked into this and I can't find any proof of this unless we were using a NightSaver meter...which we are not.

Does the ESB charge less for electricity at certain times of the day?
    - If so what times?
    &
    - Can this info be also confirmed by the esb website?
