Playing some 6 handed 1c 2c nl and I am pushing every hand regardless of the action to me. The guy to my right limps in EIGHT times in a row and folds to my all in. Then he gets AA and raises before I get a chance to push. I push anyway buts thats beside the point.

How is it possible for a person to play so badly? I know the stakes are meaningless, but I cant imagine myself ever engaging in an activity in such a bizarrely incompentant manner (bar marriage perhaps). I dont quiet believe that there is a real human being sitting out there thinking, oh well if I limp again maybe he wont raise me.

I play a lot of chess. I go to chess tournaments now and in the bottom section I see some people who were playing there when I started eight years ago. Old men who are still struggling to beat beginners. Who still fall into the same traps they did eight and probably forty-eight years ago.

I can understand people playing terribly and never getting any better. Some people just aren't made for chess. I just don't understand how they keep an interest in the game.

Playing some 6 handed 1c 2c nl and I am limping every hand regardless of my cards, unless I get AA KK QQ. The guy to my left pushes all-in EIGHT times in a row after I limp. Then I get AA and raise for the first time. The guy calls with 83o anyway.

I reckon that people were born to be good or very bad at things. Some people are good drivers, some people are good smokers and some people are just destined to be fishes at cards. A friend of mine is a smoker, not matter what illness she gets she will end her days with a cigarette in her hand. She always looks like she is really enjoying every drag of the ciggie and loves to smoke. On the other hand she is the worst driver ever ever ever to darken the roads. She drove into parked cars twice (while taking a corner), ended up in two different ditches, so needless to say now uses public transport. I firmly believe that some people are just crap at cards. Maybe he was multitabling, although just how many 1c 2c games you can play at once staggers the imagination. I have read the add book (not that anyone would notice by my play), but when i loose concentration I turn into the calling station that i have tried so hard to give up. Bummer.

Great Combo there HJ and Mr Flibble,

at least in HJ's hand he didn't call he pushed again. Therefore I think HJ wins this one and not Mr. Sklansky, wp nh...

I have a wonderful image of HJ practically busting a guy at 5/10 and then following him down through all the stakes and taking his last $5 at 1c/2c.
