Live in Newcastle Co Down here. might be ok for weekend but i hate it as live here like :p

Ya got arcades where ya loose all your money.
2 Outdoor pools, Tropicana heated, but both only open in summer.
Golf course - Royal County Down. Supposed to be a top course if your into golf

Amm, mountains of mourne & is a few parks / forest's about. Tullymore forest park, Castlewellan forest park.
Islands park has pitch & putt, Tennis courts & a lil play park, not much in it.
Castle park has, crazy golf, bowls, a better lil park, slippery dip.

2 Clubs, Coast(Central park) & The Mine (eden). Most goto coast, dont like it myself tbh. Prefered The Mine, when it was called eden. But it still a change from central where mates usually head. Also gotta loada pubs about the town.

    Lahinch , Clare ?

surfing, golf , fishing, horse riding, drinking, indoor pool too, loads of pubs with decent food , good drives to the burren / cliffs of moher etc. and every second house is a b&b, few hotels there also.

    Bundoran, Co Donegal,

Plenty to do, arcades, splashworld (or whatever it;s called) horseriding, surfing.
plenty of hotels with live music and pubs as well.

Or what about sligo or mayo, plenty of costal towns with facilities and things to do for everyone.

found my place to stay, are all these amenities in the town itself?

Tramore in Waterford or Lahinch in Clare, Both are equally nice. Bundoran has Gambing amusements, Sort of like those types that come around once a year and take over the big car park. Birds Amusements provides the Bumber cars etc. down here in Kerry anyway!

I really like Currachloe in Wexford. I'd have to agree with the person who said to stay away from Bray. It's nice for a day trip in summer but not for a holiday!
