WTF could have happened?

    Ok, so my sister was playing on my moms computer, no idea what she was doing. Few hours later my mom went back to her pc to find all the Icons from her desktop where gone.
    I went into Documents & Settings >>> User >>> Desktop and found that all the Icons where still coming up there :confused: .
    So i tried to add the icons back onto the desktop and got nothing, if i click "Show on Desktop" nothing happens, they dont appear.
    Have no idea what could have happened here. Now another funny thing is happening. You know if you click and drag on the desktop you get that box that allows you to select a bunch of icons, it wont allow me to do that either :confused: , i just get a funny little icon.

    right click on an empty area of the desktop -> Arrange Icons By -> Show Desktop Icons -- tickety?

    System Restore?

    Phew, thanks man, that worked, mom was freaking out, she thinks her pc has been infected with a virus every day :v: .

    LOL, lets hope not, my sister is a human computer virus, she just pushes buttons :v: . The first week we got BB she gave our email address to about 6 websites that started spamming us non stop.

    there's a gal of I guess 9 or 10 who we meet from time to time when walking the dog .... she often tells us what she's been doing with her family computer ..... it scares the life out of me :eek: .......

    No fear !!!! ..... that's for sure .... :(
