what do i do now ?

I would have thought any bank would take them, and charge a commission of course.

To avoid this hassle, you should just open a neteller account.

'Upgrade' your neteller account, so that you can make lodgements from neteller directly to your bank account.

The party poker checks are in dollars drawn on an English bank. This is why they normally take 5/6 weeks to clear. Much quicker to opt for a transfer straight in to your bank account. They are also refunding straight back to credit cards for European players now

Take it to the Bureau de Change in your bank. I've lodged 2 Party cheques to my account (BOI) that way.

I have recently set up a neteller account, just wondering how long it takes for your account to be activated after giving all the security details, copy of p/port, utility bill etc?

havn't had a chance to cash out yet and don't like the sounds of what the OP's going through...

they never even asked me for that much detail. Once I had supplied all the relevant bank details such as IBAN took about 4 days for microdeposit to arrive, then activation is instant once you enter that on neteller site.
