Subtitles problem

    I get a problem when selecting subtitles.
    Screen goes green and the box requires a reboot to
    fix it. Now I didn't get a chance to check it further out last night
    but could it be that subtitles are not set to ON in the setup menu.
    Problem is on a Pace430N. I ony tried it with RTE and not any of
    the other channels. I know RTE text can be a problem at the best
    of times but could it be related ???? Any help appreciated.

    this happened to me once, but i havent seen it since i got the software update

    For RTE selecting 888 on the TV's teletext is same thing. Sky box is just putting page 888 on screen.

    Sky Digibox teletext handling has always been less than perfect.

    I'll switch to ON in setup and then try something other than RTE but as you say Watty.....it's always been suspect.

    btw...I had seen it pre-update but still no joy.

    My text for RTE is no longer working. It didn't work for a long time but in recent months it has started working again. However in the last week it has stopped working again. When I press TV, then text, it just brings up the black screen. Is there any way I can get it back working again?

    I find that it recovers the ability to do "analog" text after being reset (planner rebuild or power off/on).
    Someone previously said that it helps if you tune to a radio channel for a while but this has not worked for me.
