So the cv joint of my car has gone (own fault didn't replace perished boot). So what the best way to fix this, just do the cv joint or do i need to replace the driveshaft as well?

Car is a 99 megane btw.

    Thanks.

AFAIK the drive for whichever side will have to be replaced. Happened on a clio I had a few years back. Drive and all had to come out. Pain in the a.ss

Replace it. It's not a huge job. Driveshaft should be fine.
