open GL graphics slow

    am getting Very slow performence on Open GL , when i set 3dMax to open GL my view port runs really slow with some simple stuff, but if i set it to direct 3D it works really smooth, same to doom 3, i think doom 3 is open Gl right ? it's running really slow for me, i just reformated my HDD then all of this happend ,

    i was using 81.98, so i changed to the beta drive to test if works betterm but didnt work at all :s 81.94 didnt work either i have a 6800GT

    A 6800GT should eat up OpenGL stuff. What's your Direct3D performance like?

    I didn't think things like 3dMax supported consumer cards like the 6800GT ? You might want to look into soft-modding it to a Quattro on the Guru3D Rivatuner forums.

    No idea why Doom3 would be slow though, that should fly along.
