Restoring data files backed up to ipod

    Hi,

    I've backed all my PC's files (photos, word, excel, etc.) to my ipod. I've just had to rebuild my PC and i want to move the data back on the PC. I've read your posts (thanks!) about copying music from an ipod to a PC, but none of the apps mention (that I can see) what happens to the data files.

    I want to restore my music to my PC if I can, but it's much more important to me to restore my data! Anyone achieved this, & can give me some advice? Mr. Google hasn't helped but maybe I didn't phrase the question right...

    Huh? Before I posted, I couldn't see the data files on the ipod that I wanted to restore. Assumed it was because it was a different PC. After I posted, I decided to have a go at hacking it... and the files were there! Sorry for pointless posting.
