I can't access some websites

    I can't access some websites today like:
    www.google.ie, Amazon.co.uk
    I can access RTE, BBC, CDWOW, Boards etc

    What could be the problem?

    The eircom Cork server was down the last few days.............

    I only got internet back a few hours ago:)

    If some work and others don't then it's most likely a temporary error that doesn't originate at your end. What is the error-code / message that is returned when you try to access the pages?

    Have you tried pinging the sites, don't expect replies, and then trying to connect to the IP addres.
