Anyone know how to increase the volume on the 6610i as its impossible to hear anyone while speaking to them (have to turn on loudspeaker and put it up to my ear in order to hear anything). As theres no button on the side to increase volume or using the normal way of using the keypad doesnt work i'm lost for ideas.

Been annoying me for a while but can find any info on it (lost manual so long ago :() so any help would be really appreciated.

The volume buttons are on the left hand side of the phone.

having looked at the 3d view of the phone on this page:
    http://www.nokia.ie/nokia/0,8764,57046,00.html
i can see there are no buttons there. you'll have to get the option from the menus. not 100% sure where the option would be tho

on my 3200, if i want to increase the volume in a call i press the right arrow

of course it could be a problem with the speaker on the phone

are you sure they're buttons? they look different to how they normally have the buttons on the sides of phones. that looks to me like something for taking the front cover off

just looked at the manual. they are buttons.

doesn't seem like thats the problem though. a few people have complained that the volume is very low on that phone

Hey i dont know if anyone has ever answered your question but i to only figured out how to turn the volume up and there is a button thing on the side but it isnt that noticable.

when you look at the phone if to turn it to its left sidetheres this button like thing (its long and black) and you can push that up and down to turn up the volume.

i hope that answers your question
