Mick McClean chopped 1st place in the Killarney classic for €2700. All boards members performed underwhelmingly (including myself). Good night though. Great night afterwards!

mick mcleane chopped it with criss o rourke(two dubs )for 2,900 each.another dub at the final table was owen mullen. snooker star steve davis was on the final table and won his bounty as did steven hendry who played some great poker all night.all in all it was a great tourney as far as we were concerned. full house of 88 runners, prize pool pay-out of €11,000 (100% of entry fees,re-buys and top-ups).lots of positive feedback which makes the hard work worthwhile.started at 8.00pm,finished at 4.30am(25min clock).next up is our festival on which i will be posting details shortly(fri/sat/sun march 31st,april 1st and 2nd).

Heard good reports. A friend of mine finished 11th. We are thinking of getting a group together and going in some night. Whats the story regarding this, because i've heard that there is limited entry and you may have to prebook?

its usally ok to turn up on most nights without pre booking but the end of month tourney (on the last friday of each month) is generally booked out in advance, They have a great setup and are very friendly.

    Check out their website http://killarneycueclub.com/index.html

Can confirm whats said by David-k above. Seems that only the end of the month game is booked out in advance. Its a friendly place and the games are well organised.

Enjoyed the game last Friday. Though I did nearly treble in the first few levels I made a lot of farily basic mistakes and never really got my game going. Eventually when shortstacked my all in with AQo when on the button was called by the UTG min raiser who had AA.

hey tackle, as stated by justin and david, the only nite that needs booking is the last friday of the month which is an extremely popular tourney.there is no need to book for any of the other tourneys,(Sunday €50+5 f/o,Monday €25+5 scalps F/O, Wed.€10+5 multi rebuy and friday €25+5 with 2x20 rebuy and 1 top-up). please note all games now start at 8.00pm with early bird 500 chip for those registered on time.Normally, we expect any number between 25-40 runners.call over some nite,we,d be delighted to have ye........Connie
