Sky Plus recording programmes only marked to set reminder

A few times since the recent Sky Plus Upgrade my Sky Plus has recorded programmes that have just been set as reminders - seemingly only when I actually select to watch the programme.

Now it's not a problem as such, but just wondering has anyone else noticed this happening.

i was watching sky movies this morning and a 24 ad came up with a set reminder icon with a green box, pressed green and i got, this programme is not available.

also the skyguide ad was in widescreen, how come sky dont make the skyguide widescreen also for us

Because it is designed for 4:3 and is distorted in Widescreen

You can make it FoolScreen with the TV menu :)

WS switching actually seemed to be a bit inconsistant in Interactive before, and now seems to mostly be 4:3 mode.

no watty i meant that i was watching SM in widescreen and the ad showed the skyguide in widescreen, id say for the people having it in 4.3, but why dont sky have a function where the skyguide can be widescreen for a widescreen tv.

    would be nice :)

I got that earlier today when I saw the ad on Sky One. It was the first time I've seen the green button on an ad too. But I got the same message as you.

Also, in Sky Active, there's a Battlastar Galactica behind the scenes thing. That also gives a not available message. A similar Sky Active feature showing a preview for 24 worked fine.

I am getting the same problem with the green button. Does this feature require a further update.

Typical sky launching a feature that don't work.

actually it worked earlier for me for a film on sky movies, it pops up a screen with the times its on, more than once, 3 times infact one of which was on the HD channel.
You can still hear the sound from the channel when viewing this screen.

Incidently ive now seen the green elephant reminder ads.

I saw the ads long before the one and only time I've actually seen the green button on an ad. Until today, I was wondering if I was having a problem causing me to not see the green button on any ads.
