Any General Advice on Early Stages of a NL Rebuy

Playing a 50+10 rebuy tonight in Killarney. 2 rebuys and 1 top-up allowed each 50 euro. Starting Stack 3,750 chips, rebuy 4,000 chips and Top-Up 5,000 chips.

I'm more used to playing FO and any time I've played an online rebuy I've pretty much treated it as a FO (Sometimes get the top-up but rarely rebuy).

I'm guessing the best way to approach a rebuy is to try to accumulate a decent stack in the rebuy levels. This might be best done by slightly adjusting normal play. Slightly reduce opening hand requirements and play more aggressively the hands that you do play. I wouldn't have thought that trying a steal in the rebuy stages would be too successful as other players are more likely to call with poor hands that would beat a bluff. Drawing hands would perhaps have greater implied odds due to looser play by other players. If you manage to get to double the starting chips in the later rebuy stages or treble the starting chips in the early rebuy stages then you could go back to playing your normal game.

Anybody got any advice, links or feedback on the ideas above?

ok rebuys are all about how much chips you can get to play the rest of a the tourny IMO. imagine a FO tourney that players didn’t have the same starting stack and the person to your left and right had 3x the stack you have!
as to how much chips is good i would say if you can get upto 4 or 5 times your starting stack by the time the rebuy is over then your in great shape.
as how to adjust you play ,well get involved in all the big pots.if some one raises and you have a couple of callers then call with any hand that you feel is not dominated. SC ,small pairs, etc their all great for taking big pots .
obviously for this to work you will need to rebuy a few times as well if things dont go good at the start but then again you have to prepared to do that in rebuys.
if you manage to get a big stack during the rebuy then tighten up and play solid game and dont take risks as they are many players with small stacks who are willing to take big risks in order to build a stack and they can hurt you.

In a more than 2 x rebuy/topup tourney, I wouldn't be too concerned with soft-playing big pairs. Play them hard, someone will nearly always call. Likewise, play sets hard.

In a rebuy I don't play hugely differently from a normal tournament, although I'd play more small pairs/ suited connectors for small raises. Also I never fold JJ or up, or AK preflop. If I hit a big draw I'm generally sticking it in also. The main difference though is in preflop hand selection. After the flop you still want to be fairly sure that you have the winning hand or have a decent chance of drawing to the winning hand. Bluffing is nearly always a -EV play. The biggest mistake I see being made is people calling off their chips with second pair top kicker or some crap like that 'because it's a rebuy', even though they know they're behind.
Ideally you want as Gholi says 4-5 times your initial buy in, but I rarely panic if I have 1.5 x or 2 x my initial starting stack plus the top up.
