    Hey folks!

Just a wee note aimed mainly at the Irish branch of the list. We're finally back to play some shows in Ireland after what has been quite some break. Our last Dublin show was in October 2004!

Before that though, album update. We're in the final week of recording the new album, and so far sessions have taken place in various places around Ireland as well France, Chicago, San Diego and Washington DC, in places such as Black Box and the legendary Inner Ear studios (where they make all them lovely Fugazi rekkids!!) . So far, we *think* it sounds cracking. As of this weekend all the DVD's of messing get dumped into the lap of Kris Poulin, Pinback's live sound guy and knob twiddler behind things like Jim O'Rourke's "Insignificance", and it'll be his job to make it sound lovely. Fingers crossed for a summer release in the US and Europe on Absolutely Kosher records, and there should be some mp3 action before long

Anyhoo, we're playing shows over the next month, some of which are with Love Story in Blood Red, who just happen to feature Mr Poulin on guitar and hail from Chicago. They're delightful!

Hope to see some of you at these!

23/02 Spirit Store, Dundalk w/ Love Story in Blood Red and Large Mound
24/02 Ballroom of Romance (at the Boom Boom Room, Parnell SQ), Dublin w/ Love Story in Blood Red, The Lamps and Red Sirius
16/03 Roisin Dubh, Galway w/ Waiting Room
    24/03 The Stables, Mullingar

We'll be heading back to the US on tour soon enough, so these will probably be the only Irish shows we play this year, but check the site as one or two more may be added..

    Cheerio!
