Summer jobs

I am a 2nd year student in DCU studying Computer Applications (Software Engineering) in search of a summer job somehow even related to the field of computing.

I have experience with Debian(and other linux based operating systems), Freebsd, Windows, etc. This would include setting up servers (apache, mysqld, sendmail, qmail, and so on).

I would also have a good knowledge of c and assembly(from college and home projects such as os development, etc). Also, I would know an adequate amount of java from college.

I would consider my problem solving abilities to be good, and I am capeable of doing all the basics from building/repairing computers to setting up basic networks and the like.

My question is this, is there any work out there for somebody like me just for the summer, or am I dreaming?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Ericsson in Dublin take people on for the summer, about 4 or 5.
Also Irish Cement but you must have relations working there
