looking for a laptop and tempted to go for AMD over Intel. Seem to be some good value AMD sempron 3000 based lappies available at good prices. Anybody got a preference for these new centrinos?

Depending on your requirment this is a nice mid/high end single core option

I'd go for Intel over AMD in laptops for some reason, despite the fact that I'm a big AMD fan in desktops. Can't really put my finger on why exactly I prefer intel procs in lappys though.
