how do i add videos from you tube onto bebo?

find the vid u want..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYXBOzHoGQE < lets say that..

get the Video URL (Permalink) that u find under share details,

for this video it is.. http://www.youtube.com/?v=fYXBOzHoGQE

delete the ? and replace the = with a / like so..

http://www.youtube.com/v/fYXBOzHoGQE

copy and paste that into the adress bar and hit enter,

now wait for the vid to appear, and the adressbar will now contain a huge url, copy and paste that on bebo where it askes for the url of the swf..

as far as i know thats the only way to do it. thats how i found out anyways..

Ok go onto the youtube page of the vid you want then....

1. Click view
2. click source
3. a new window will open
4. press ctrl+f
5. type in swf and press find
6. you will see a line like this

var fo = new FlashObject("/player.swf?video_id=vF3Eg4RL4ws&l=83", "player", "470", "390", 7, "#FFFFFF");

7. highlight that within the inverted commas eg

/player.swf?video_id=vF3Eg4RL4ws&l=83

8. press ctrl+c

in the part in bebo where they ask for the url put in www.youtube.com and then paste what you just copied onto the end of it!

Didn't wanna start a new thread for this but does anyone know how to post an URL in Bebo.

Seems like basic HTML tags (<b>,<u>) used in Blog / Comment Entries so can you post a <a href> tag.. goddamn Bebo's lack of an ability to preview Blog / Comment entries.
