dell inspiron format

    hey,

    i've just formatted my hd of my inspiron and reinstalled xp. got everything back up smoothly except for my sound, ethernet controller and network controller. anyway i can install these driver or find out what ones i have?

    thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.

    Probably a pref in the control panel for the touchpad software/driver but thats just a guess you should see it on Dells support site as well.

    Windows probably installed basic drivers for it, you'll need to install the more advanced drivers from Dell to get the extra feature.

    Same for the play/stop buttons if you have them.

    Spartacus is right, have a looksee for mouse/touchpad drivers.
