I know its a bit late to be looking but I'm willing to pay over the odds and I'm wondering has any one ever dealt with a reputable ticket broker over the net that they could recommend..

I need to confirm with some people, but may have one I can sell you.
Club enclosure, will give it to you face value.

Need to confirm the person who it was bought for can't make it...

    <edit>

btw, if you're interested then send me a PM with contact details as you don't seem to use boards too often I'm guessing.

    Touting isn't allowed on Boards.

I'm hardly touting, I'm asking for a recommendation...

True, what's your point? Granted this thread belongs on a ticket sale board though.

Your encouraging touting, by offering to pay over the odds. You can't offer to pay more than the face value of the ticket.

Just letting you know that it's frowned upon on Boards.ie

There wasn't a point to it, I was merely stating fact.

It wouldn't get exposure to the right people on the shop forum so maybe he'll have better luck here.

Call off your dogs bluey, the guy is desperate for a ticket. Touting is against the rules but I believe that's more from a sellers point of view than a buyer.

addition: on the FS forum all instances of touting get you a bullet to the head. We'll see how far you go here with pete.

I know I know I know, believe you me I've nothing against touting, after all where would we be without the comon garden tout in the open market. It was more of a pointing something out than comdemning it... i.e. perhaps some off thread dealing is the way to go here.

To the OP: I wouldn't pay over the odds, you'll pick one up face value outside on the day.

You're right, I have a lot against touting to be honest but if this guy can get his hands on a ticket (gold cup day has been sold out a long time) through the help of any of the lads here, then it'll be no harm.

Yeah, I've been watching the prices on ebay(.co.uk) and they seem reasonable at the moment - so PAIMEI if I can't help you then that could be a decent place to look (just make sure you check the feedback rating of the person selling).

Possible problem there seems to be that most sales are for two tickets, my presumption that only one ticket is being looked for.
I've received your PM PAIMEI and I'll try give you a yes or a no by after the weekend :)

Btw,You'll pick up tickets for close to, or face value (bar Gold Cup day) outside the Track for each day without much hassle as there literally 1000's of unwanted spare "corporate tickets" being sold by the touts.

Guessing you could end up scorched buying on ebay if they turn out to be counterfeit tickets.
