RGB vs PAL

RGB seems a bit crisper, but it also moves the horizontal to the left a bit, i.e. I lose a bit of the left-hand-side of the picture. If only I had the old "horiz/vertical hold adjusters" that used to be on TVs.

    Why does this happen?

Poor TV design. It can be adjusted usually internall on TV or via a service menu.

RGB is much better, no colour crawl on fine detail and no detail crawl on strong colours
