now this tip is a bit dodgy but i will tip it anyway.ISLAND GREEN is running and the only reason i am tipping it is because it is supposed to have potential it has no form to show for that but a drop in distance and with jamie spencer on board it could it could let us see the best in him.6/1.

BUT VERY DODGY BECAUSE OF HIS FORM

It would be worthwhile keeping an eye on the price before diving into this one. As we know Mr. Curley likes the odd punt !!

    10/1

I presume you mean the Southwell 1.50?

    Odds at 10/1 currently.

    MILLANYMARE

running in a 0-109 rated steeplechase should go close. had two good wins in hurdle handicaps and was brought down in another when going really well in a 88-140 rated. he was 9/4f that day. she races off a low 79 here so that will do her a fav today carrying 9-11. got word for her when last running at cheltenham when she got hampered 3 out.

    currently 8/1 paddypower

Interesting horse, her handicap mark over fences in 35lb lower than it is over hurdles, so she will surely win a couple of races in the near future. However I'd be surprised if it was today, the ground won't suit and the distance seems way to short for her. The fact she hasn't raced in over 100 days suggests todays run is purely for fitness with an eye on some other races in the near future. But definitely a horse to keep a note of off that sort of handicap mark.

    Nad Al Sheba

    5:25 - Ceasar Beware

Showed he's back to his true self by winning in emphatic style here recently. Step up to a mile will show him in even better light and the current showing of 3-1 is quite generous.

    3:15 Thurles

    Western Devil

A horse who was always supposed to do better things...hasn't really shined in its starts to date but I've been told to expect an imrovement so at an each way price today he could be worth a small wager.

    4:45 Thurles POKER PAL

Has showed steady improvment this season and is rated 20lbs less as a chaser than at the top of his game as a hurdler so could be well in here. Proven at the trip and will be a decent price.

    5:10 Trebello

Mate of mine is currently working for the trainer and told me to watch out for this one today, he's doing more at home than he's suggested on the track

    4:15 Thurles

    Won't leave an oat

Tried to do a search of the forum for this but had no joy....I harped on about it a lot last year cause it was a tip given to me by a good source. The horse was shockingly bad though and I laughed when I saw it as favourite today. Made a quick phone call and apparently (as the post says today) it's shown massive improvement in PtPs so a big run is expected today.

All of the above is just speculation and doesn't come with my usual brand of approval ;)

That Trebello one seems to be a bit weird lads. I've been trying to text and ring my mate all day cause this one has been backed fro 33s into 8/9-1 in places. Haven't heard anything from him though so probably safer to avoid or just have a small each way. The price is definitely shot to bits now.

there was a huge gamble on him in his last race and jamie didnt ride him again if he thought he didnt have potential.

Ah I remember now, should have read my own post. Looks thrown in tonight, conditions should be OK although she'd prefer a bit longer on slightly better ground, still off that weight must have a great chance.

sorry folks. shockin ride by the jockey. he made too late a burst for it - stayed at the back for a long period. was available at 7/2 this morning and opened at 2's on the course and backed into 7/4. should have won by a mile. very disappointing. one to keep a look out for.

No need to apologise man. I backed it and saw the race. That jockey is a disaster. In fairness, he was too cocky. Another 9f left and he still had the horse in last position. To be honest, the ability that horse has there was absolutely no reason it should have ever been sitting in the back. He could have kept it in mid division and won it very easily. Even if it is a back-runner, he really did mess up today.

Couldn't agree more sjones. The jockey isn't fit to ride a bicycle on today's evidence. Best horse lost and thats for sure.
