    Well, the winners are ....

fuzz and stegs (slegs, stegs, smegs, blegs ... I dunno what his username is).

The SE 75 Double chance tourney is split down the middle by these two players.

    Goooo us.

I'll think about it - but it might be a little boring ... because it goes along the lines of ...

I had 10-15BBs ... and when it got to me ... I moved in.

    Rinse repeat.

    Thats would be slegs lol!

About 27 odd players our table was very tight except for Fuzzbox with his allins lol (Mark McMahon and Niall O'C I think were at our table)..

One guy with a huge stack looked like he was going to dominate the last table but didnt hit a hand fort he last 90 mins. 4 of the 9 at the last table went out in the first 5 odd hands which was nice to see for the rest of us.

Alot of allins..with 4 left one big hand saw Fuzz go allin against the former big stack who he had covered and the french chap with AKd and the two lads showed KQo for more or less a triple up..

I got the french guy with his allin called a2 vs K9...

With the eyes getting bleary and some difficulty in counting the stacks (my inexperience with large volumes of chips lol) me and fuzz strike a deal to split 1600

an enjoyable tournament..nice to play live with good players (in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere) after the furstration of online play recently

definately play again in this onebut I would say that then wouldnt I!

Wow - I must have met both of you, as I was the poor card dead lad who went out on the bubble in 5th! Which one of you knocked me out (my KQ vs. massive chip leader's KQ vs. your AK)? The €75 DC is a great tournament, pity there weren't more players last night (due to the match I am sure).

Edit* ahh, by re-reading slegs' post I see it was fuzzbox that knocked me out, wp both of you

The fuzz knocked you out :). (slegs is the one who got AA about 10000 times on the final table)

Yeah the place was pretty empty last night. It was much busier a couple of weeks ago. There was only 1 cash game going last night, while a couple of weeks ago there were like 4 or something.

PS - massive chip leader, became massive chip squanderer, and went out 4th !!!!!!! Really.

Nice result lads. I think it was a bit quiet due to the football. It is a nice little tournament, though.
Never got going myself and ended up going out shortly after the break when I was allin with AK against 1010 and A10 and the case 10 arrived on the flop.

nice work! With two tables left I had a measly 6k with blinds at 400-800. I spent most of my time pushing all-in. Whenever I folded I think fuzz pushed all-in so nobody really had a chance to see a flop!

I had no interest going to the FT with 5k but in hindsight the button and the SB were playing very soft into my BB so maybe I should have played a bit tighter... There was no room for post-flop play.. nobody had more than 15BB at our table.

Was that you fuzz that eventually put me out of my misery, AK vs 88 ?

    It sure was.

The steamroller that is the fuzz, cut a swathe through the boardies :). It seems that I took over 50% of you out.

    Haha.

Flops are for players with chips. Not us short stack guys.

PS - Im glad you moved in ahead of me with the K5 (when you hit trip 5s), because I was considering moving with my excellent K8, and I would have lost to that other guy who limped with his rag-Ace.

Youse are all flukes pushing all in and getting lucky.

Seriously the S.E should consider 20 min levels before the break and 30min after the break i reckon.

ocallagh's point 'There was no room for post-flop play.. nobody had more than 15BB at our table' is the reason ive not been there in while.
