Either you have a really, really crap camera, or you shouldn't be allowed to use photoshop.

You can get into the gallery via the link in his signature. I don't know why sinecurea has to be such a miserable ****er about it though.

Firstly, thank you for spelling my name correctly. Secondly, have you seen them?

The one with the grass it's too bad qualilty though...

I think the one called surreal is very nice. the sky is beautiful, but i think it would be better if the grass wasn't in focus.
The colours in the other two are odd. they look fake, im'guessing they've been touched up. But the clouds look very cool!

Damnit anyway... sorry about the links.. they should be fine now.. (although i did check the originals and they worked fine last night, but not today...) I think i'll stick with imageshack in future..

By the way, when ye say the colours, look odd and stuff, do ye mean too saturated?..
I'm still figuring my way around photoshop, so yes sinecurea, maybe i haven't got a clue..., i'll still have a lash at it though..
And i guess you could say my camera (Canon A85) is a really, really crap camera, compared to what a lot of the people here have (wasn't too bad when i first got it though!), but its all i have, so i gotta make do with it for now..

On the grass one, i wasn't sure at first whether it was good or bad quality, but i kinda grew on me, and i dunno but i like how the grass is in focus, and seems to be illuminated by moonlight (even though it is a sunset..) to me that is, but hey, what the hell do i know about this photography business...

I generally don't comment on these threads (they somewhat annoy me, even though at the same time I'd like to make one myself but I'd prefer a subforum that is designed to be spammed</rant>) but after your comments I was curious.

Now that the pictures are up, I've gotta say I like them. I'm not going to give much useful commentry I'm afraid but I like the (over-)saturation. The strong blues and greens. What I might comment on is the somewhat uneven colouring - the strong bright green at the foreground and the strong blue sky but then the rest of the landscape in the middleground has much more dulled colourings.

There's something a bit strange about 'Follow Me' though. There are noticable blacknesses in the bushes to the left and right of the image. I wouldn't know enough about Photoshop to comment really but is that the saturation being applied to the shadows? Because it is 'too much' there alright. The black areas are distracting, in my opinion. Too distracting.

It's better than my stuff though, but that's not hard to do. Keep at it.

Yeah, the colours look too saturated, only in the first and third picture, maybe just bring them down a bit, not too much, but a small bit. Maybe adjust levels or saturation and brightness and contrast a little. Just an idea, I'm no expert.

The first one is very nice

The second one is a bit tilted ... its hard to position a low shot like that, so try taking a few in sequence

The third one seems to have some problems with the colour. The grass looks funny. Plus it is two wide. I would crop it around the dog's head, since it is a nice idea to have the dog appearing out of the grass

I love the panorama shot, I have to say. Then again, I'm a sucker for shots like that.

I will tone down the strong colours in them a bit, if i get a bit of free time over the weekend..
