Broken iPod mini

    Hello,

    At around 10:00 last night my iPod mini stopped working:mad: .
    It turns on all right, and the buttons work
    But when i try to browse the menu options, the scroll wheel wont respond to my finger

    I have restored the factory settings of the iPod, updated the firmware, plugged it into the PC and charged it up.
    Has anyone else had this problem with iPod's?
    And if so, how did you resolve the problem?
    And does anyone know whether i would be better off buying a brand new iPod rather than repairing it?
    The 1 year warrenty has just gone!

    TBH, if it's not working after a Reset and firmware flash - it's b0rked. Ask Apple or mactivate(.ie) for a quote.

    I think i will just buy a new video iPod or a nano
    so angry about this though!
