    Guys looking to send a Bodhran over to a guy as a gift(ACTUALLY as a gift) but am gettin quoted 150 euro! its about 20x20x5 boxed and thats what they are going on but its 2.2kg. Anyone know of a cheaper way? think that was UPS

    On the An Post website I got 77 euro for a courier service and 45 euro for registered post for a package of 2.5kg.

    Check it out at anpost.ie. That is if you trust them :eek:

    dimensional weight is 8 kilogrammes so workin out around 100! thanks anyway. Suppose thats best there is

    i sent my Genelecs over to a guy in America(stupid fúcker could have bought em cheaper over there:rolleyes:).. I went into the postoffice, said ''Oi! Send this to America NOW woman!!!'', she rightly obliged and the cost came to a little over €100, 12 or 13kg or so. I didn't pay postage either:)

    Eh that wasn't in a Finglas Post Office Lundi cos the women behind the counter there would kick the ****e out of ya for that ;)
