I tend to hop around servers quite a bit and I was wondering if there is a way of deleting all the rubbish that gets downloaded when going onto a new server without actually uninstalling the game completely and reinsttalling?

Yup go into activision/cod2/main (or whereever you installed cod2 to, the main dir is the important one) you should see iw_00.iwd up to iw_04.iwd, a file called hunkusage and localised english iwds from 00 to 10 I think. Any other file is a custom file and can be deleted.

Is there a dir cleaner out for cod2 yet?

Her is a screenshot of what should be in your main dir.

Don't mind the very bottom file, it doesn't matter if you dont have it.
Everything else that is in ther, must alway be in there, and never deleted it.

Any file which you have in the directory which arn't in the screenie can be deleted
