Dual core cupport on 915GEVLK

Hi Folks, Can anyone tell me if the Intel 915GEVLK motherboard supports Dual Core 8series Pentium 4's. I checked the Intel site and it seems that the board doesnt support anything past the 6 series, barr the EE. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'd say its unlikely Intels site lists the 945/955 series as the supporting Intel chipsets for the Pentium D 8xx series.

Though some of NVIDIA's and ATI's Intel chipsets support it as well.

I just rang elara,
the intel 915 doesn't support the 8D series.
