Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 3: Advanced Warfighter

This game is out in about 2 weeks or so and i'm wondering whether i should wait to buy it or just get COD2 now. I know that COD2 is an amazing game and have played it a few times, but trailers of Advanced Warfighter look very impressive and graphics unreal. What i want to know is, is the game really tactical? like i havn't played any of the other Ghost Recon games but have heard that they are all quite slow and tactical and i'm not sure if i'm in to that. I probably would prefer COD2 and will probably end of getting but what are your expectations for this game?

If you can only get one then wait fro GRAW. COD2 was an immense game but I didn't really enjoy the online element probably due to the lag. However, from what I've seen and heard, GRAW is going to be outstanding. There should be a demo before the 10th March so at least wait til then to make a decision. You should get around to playing COD2 at some stage though.

I just got COD2 today and played it for 5 hours straight, its well worth it if you can get both.
I would be of the same opinion on GRAW, thinking it may be more tactical/slower that a fps. I think I wait for the demo like the lads said.

Hadn't heard about the zombie game, cool looks good from previews so far.

I am waiting for Gears of War, Burnout, and Halo3 (yes I know it could be a while)

Dead Rising is definitly the game I am looking forward to, although it seems that is more likely set for July+ at this stage.

GRAW was delayed until the 17th I think recently, dunno if you took that in account.

Yeah, I said here I thought that was going to happen a few weeks ago, I'm guessing that with the PS3 likely to be majorly delayed, MS has gone to developers and said "Don't be in such a rush to get games out anymore, spend a bit more time perfecting them".

I have read on a few sites that it has not actually been delayed, it was a mix-up. apparently the xbox version has been delayed, not the 360 version. Not 100% though.

I played it at gamecon, was cool! the enemy's bullets have this cool moniton air effect, unlike 99% of other games that represent bullets as yellow little lines. The way he moves is so cool looking too, depends on what weapon he is holding, like the rocket launcher when i took out the tank he was struggling to run with it. loads a little things make it really cool. Controls are top notch also.

Hum, so GRAW or FNR3.... Probably FNR3 until I can playtest GRAW.
