hey guys, played online poker for a bit, then decided to stop. Want to start back up again and was wondering which book or books you would recommend reading which deal with online play? because i read a few reviews on amazon.com and there was no really popular book, most got average if not worse reviews... thanks :)

Well theres very little difference in play between online and brick and mortar and most of the books that claim to be for online are just standard poker strategy books(mediocre ones at that) that use the online thing as a gimmick. Theres even less about nl holdem. Matt hilgers book online texas holdem has some decent bits regarding online play but its hardly anything revalatory and most of stuff is found in any standard poker book, plus thats for limit. SS, a book by ciaffone i think and books on tournaments are the only Nl books I know off. Strange really.

I'd avoid any book with the word Internet or online in the title alright, they are usually awful books for suckers who want to know what this "Interweb Holdemie thing is".
Check out Muso's guide to poker in the sticky, he has a good section on poker books.
